Born on June 28, 1971, Elon is an engineer, industrial designer, technology entrepreneur, and philanthropist.

He is the founder, CEO, and chief engineer/designer of SpaceX; co-founder, CEO, and product architect of Tesla Inc; founder of The Boring Company; co-founder of Neuralink; and co-founder and initial co-chairman of OpenAI. One man handling so many companies, Woah!

He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS) in 2018. In December 2016, he was ranked 21st on the Forbes list of The World’s Most Powerful People and was ranked joint-first on the Forbes list of the Most Innovative Leaders of 2019.

As of December 2020, he has a net worth of $134.7 billion and is listed by Forbes as the 2nd-richest person in the world. He is also the longest-tenured CEO of any automotive manufacturer globally.

Quiet a list of accomplishments, eh?

It would be an understatement to say that Elon is a genius. He’s not just a genius, he is extraordinary, he is a f*ckin Alien!

Right from an early age, everything he has done is extraordinary!

At the age of 10, he developed an interest in coding and taught himself computer programming, and by the age of 12, he created a video game called Blastar.

In simple words, Elon Musk is that GTA character who maxed out! lol.

He launched his first company, Zip2, along with his brother Kimbal and sold it for $307 million to Compaq in 1999.

Later, he co-founded PayPal, which Ebay bought for $1.5 billion in 2002.

And ever since, Elon has co-founded one successful company after another!

His latest venture Neuralink is going to change the way humans interact!

On the JRE podcast, Elon discussed things like curing physical impairments, Alzheimer’s, and paralysis with Neuralink. He also talked about the possibility of humans interacting with one another without even having to speak if neuralink works out the way they are expecting, holy shit!

This is some Hollywood science-fiction movie type of shit! This guy is single-handedly changing the whole planet!

With Tesla, he went against the automotive industry! When every car manufacturer was building gasoline cars, Elon saw the future and bet his money on EV and this was in the mid-2000s, wtf!

In other words, When the world was drunk on petrol and diesel, Elon had the intellect to visualize the future in EV and the guts to pursue it, this combination is very rare!

From $19 to almost $2000 a share at its peak, what a journey!

Do you know? The new Tesla Roadster is the fastest car in the world.

And the best part is that its base price is $250,000, just $250,000. Now, you might be thinking $250,000 is a lot of money but do you know how much Bugatti Chiron’s base model costs- $2,990,000, more than 10 times.

RIP all the race car brands, because Tesla literally makes all the other car manufacturers look like fools! Firstly, they are producing gasoline cars which lost to EV in every department other than speed and now, Tesla even beat them at their game, smh!

Along with changing what you drive, he is also working on changing where you drive with The Boring Company, Elon thinks the real future is not flying cars, its underground tunnel cars.

With SpaceX, he disrupted the Aerospace industry! What space research organizations like NASA and ISRO couldn’t do, a private company- SpaceX did! The first reusable rocket, reusable rocket, who would have thought that?

However, Elon did not achieve success with SpaceX on the first try. The first 3 attempts went south and he only had the money for one more but he believed in his idea and in SpaceX. And, luckily the fourth launch did succeed and now SpaceX is making rockets for NASA!

Started from the bottom now we here baby!

Recently, SpaceX broke a record by launching 180 satellites in 1 month — accelerating Elon project(Starlink) to blanket Earth in high-speed internet. And soon, Elon and SpaceX will take us to Mars, mark my words! We’ll be a multi-planetary species! OCCUPY MARS!

But, Elon has had his fair share of criticism and doubters! And, he has been close to failing multiple times!

For instance, there even came a time when Tesla and SpaceX both came close to bankruptcy, and Elon had to decide whether to put his remaining money in one of the companies and let another die or split the money into both and have the risk of losing both! But, as I said, Elon is one gutsy guy, he split the money into both and it played out well!

Legendary marketer

Elon musk is the greatest marketer of all time! Do you know why? Because he never markets his products. His products are so good that it sells itself! All his companies spend 0$ on marketing, crazy, right?

Elon Musk is the master of the 0$ marketing strategy because everything he does is so unique that it gets marketed freely, people want to talk about him and his companies, he is a brand himself.

From weird baby name to launching a Tesla in space! From weird dance in China to smoking pot on JRE, Elon is always in the limelight.

No industry veteran could do what Musk does — it is not in their DNA.

Musk is different. Not just a brilliant engineer. Not just a brilliant promoter. Despite the tweets, the braggadocio, and the optimistic targets, when you look at the reality of what he does, how he does it, and the consequences for his companies; it becomes clear that Tesla and other companies’ success is not in spite of Musk, but because of him.
