Consistency: The key to achieving goals

~Mehul Rawat

Have you ever planned to do some task, some project, or achieve some goal within some fixed time frame? Let’s consider some days, some weeks, or some months and then failed to do it? Ever wondered why you failed?
You had the motivation, you knew the goal, you knew what you needed to do to achieve that goal!
Then what went wrong?

Probably, you were not consistent.
You did not do, what you decided to do……….Every day.
You felt like taking a break one day, then that one day break turned into multiple days’ vacation and when you came back from that vacation, you had to start again from the beginning because you were out of form now, you lost the momentum.

This is a major setback in the goal achieving process. Consistency requires discipline, it requires doing the same set of things every day. And, that is not easy, it can get very hard. It’s not everyone’s piece of cake!
But the problem is, we don’t have an option, if we want to achieve our goals, staying consistent is the only way. Now, please don’t go on google searching, “How to stay consistent?”. You can figure that out yourself. Plus, all the hacks and cheat tricks would not work unless you do!

So, the next time you feel like taking a break, remind yourself about the years you have wasted because you couldn’t control yourself because you couldn’t say no to the unnecessary and irrelevant stuff!
Imagine, what you could have accomplished if you did what you decided to do, if you did what you needed to do, all these years. How different your life could have been!

So, be consistent, just do it!
What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. Don’t let yourself become a victim of time because it’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do every day.

Life has no undo button, years are gone doing nothing and years will go by doing nothing if we don’t take charge of your life!
So, get up and work, my friend.
It’s time to shine.
